Khairunnisa Amir  

Khairunnisa (Nisa) is an 18 year old girl who lives with her parents and 3 sisters.

She graduated from High School last year. She was an excellent student and she is very keen to continue her education however her family are unable to fund this.

Since leaving school she has been helping an aunt to sell clothes and continued with her hobby of drawing.

She would like to study economics or education at Mataram State University. She says that "Just because my family is poor should not mean I cannot continue my education. Education is important to me for a better life".

Nisa is willing to work hard to achieve success in life. She would like to influence and encourage other woman in her village and in Lombok to make the most of education and use it to achieve what they are capable of.
