Baiq Sri Hulfa

Baiq is the only girl in her family. She has five brothers and the older ones are working to support the family. Her father passed away 8 years ago and her mother used to work as a farmer to support the family but has had to stop because of physical weakness and growing older.

Baiq did very well after finishing High School but was unable to go on to University since there is no money to pay for further study. She enjoys making clothes and makes a small income from this however this is not her vision for her life.

Baiq has always wanted to become a teacher. She enjoys working with children, and would love to teach and inspire them.

She says "with a good job as a teacher I can change my life to be better for my family and I can influence the lifes of other children. If I get the opportunity to go to University I will study seriously and diligently and get good grades so as not to disappoint those who finance me".
