Arina is 17 years old and is in her last year of High School. She lives with her parents and 2 brothers.

Arina is doing very well at school and would like to continue studying and go on to University to develop and use her talents.

She enjoys reading and her favourite subjects are mathematics, english and economics.

She would like to study developmental economics to learn how the economy works and to make changes to her country for a better future.

​

She says "if I go to University I can continue to learn and then make changes to my country since I will be educated and can be listened to".

​

However Arina's family cannot afford the fees for her to go to University. Her father works and provides money for the family to live and for the children to go to school. Any extra money is being saved to build a family house so that they will not have to move again.

She is hopeful that somehow she will be able to realise her dream of becoming more educated to influence positive change in her country.
